What do you guys think is a good ISO setting for the casual all-round usage of the camera?

check

always keep ISO as LOW as possible, unless you're in shadow/darkness and have no tripod with you.

Higher ISO makes picture brighter, but at a horrible cost of hideous multi-colored grain. and nobody likes grain, believe me

yes low as possible iso.. makes noise if too high so only use it when you need it e.g. sport. default settings work well too. Tehe.
